Metering and Measurement Rental:
Due to the costs of existing metering and targeting systems and with the advent of smart metering becoming more and more popular, energy projects may not justify the cost of the installation of a metering system.
DCS Group have developed our own in-house cloud-based metering system which has been in operation for over 10 years where we provide rental of energy metering that allows visualisation of consumption before, during and after your energy project. This system is rented for the duration of the project, therefore leading to a fraction of the cost of a permanent metering system.
Digitalisation of Certification
DCS Group have developed a software platform that saves time and costs associated with the electrical certification process which are legal statutory requirements.
Originally the onsite engineer had to keep hard copies of records which subsequently had to be sent or brought back to head office. This not only allowed for errors to occur through documents being misplaced but also the Customer not receiving the relevant certification which in turn causes issues when required for future audits.
DCS Group have now successfully delivered and implemented this solution across a range of applications throughout Ireland and have found these key benefits;

Smart-E
Smart-E is a Smart-Energy control device, developed by DCS Group, which allows customers to control and schedule their energy usage through a Local Area Network or remote device. Smart-E can control lighting, heating, water heating, renewable energy sources, security and surveillance along with all electrical appliances while allowing un-interrupted supply to essential items such as refrigeration and fire alarm. The primary objective of Smart-E is to assist companies to control non-essential items during out of hours, the lights, computers, printers and reduce customers energy consumption thus generate financial savings.
